Are you a Chef who is looking to move out of the kitchen but still have a passion for food and hospitality?
Our client is looking to recruit a Kitchen Administrator to support the Head Chef and busy kitchen. This site caters for 1000+ daily over a breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
What you'll be doing:
supporting the kitchen and ensure all admin is in order including menu/recipe specs
managing compliance and due diligence
ensuring all record keeping is correctly completed and up to date
any additional kitchen related admin required
able to jump in and help in the kitchen or pass when needed
Working hours are 5/7, approx. 45 hours per week.
Due to location, it is preferable to have own mode of transport as there is extremely limited public transport to the site.
What we're looking for:
ideally a Head Chef or Sous Chef who enjoys the paperwork/admin side
a chef background
understanding of kitchen compliance, due diligence and record keeping
methodical approach with attention to detail
strong organizational skills and computer literacy
good communication skills with the ability to liaise with colleagues and customers
flexibility and a good attitude
