Protea Recruitment is working with a well-known Food Manufacturer near Glasgow, which is looking for a Quality Manager to join their team. Our client has experienced impressive growth over the past few years, and produces an extensive range of products, supplying to major retailers.
Minimum Requirements:
- Quality Management Food Manufacturing experience is essential
- Experience working with companies that have supplied major retailers
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems

- Manage both QA and Hygiene teams to ensure all quality and food safety checks are carried out in accordance to procedures, as well as ordering hygiene products.
- Manage training and development programs to ensure all employees are well-versed in all systems (QMS Procedures)
- Maintain site management systems, procedures, and protocols, in support of the Technical Manager, to ensure that production activities remain in line with legislative requirements.
- Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor QMS effectiveness and drive improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and participate in external audits by regulatory agencies or third-party auditors.
