Platform Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturer that design and develop electro-mechanical products across the full development cycle – concept through to production. They are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their collaborative team and contribute to a variety of projects, ranging from small assemblies to complete systems. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing British manufacturer producing cutting-edge electro-mechanical products.
The Role:
- Produce 2D and 3D CAD designs
- Manager PLM system
- Produce manufacturing drawings
- Create bills of materials
- Develop Jigs, fixtures & support products
- Work with production to solve technical issues
Requirements:
- Previously designed enclosures or electro-mechanical products
- Strong understanding of drawing standards
- 3D CAD design – Solidworks
- Produce manufacturing drawings
- Strong communication and teamworking skills
The salary will be between £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefits package available
