HSE Officer / Health and Safety Officer / SHE Advisor required for a global manufacturer of highly technical engineering equipment.
The HSE Officer / Health and Safety Officer / SHE Advisor will provide advice to managers to ensure they fully understand all policies and procedures, as well as completing frequent audits of all manufacturing areas.
The HSE Officer / Health and Safety Officer / SHE Advisor will commute to the main office based in Bolton and ideally hold a formal Health and Safety qualification such as a NEBOSH / NVQ / IEMA.
This position will be suitable for someone who has prior experience in HSE / health and safety and is looking to take on more responsibility in their career.
Package:
£35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
Monday – Friday
Early finish on Fridays

Office based in BoltonResponsibilities:
Provide advice to all managers and staff to ensure they fully understand all policies and procedures
Conduct frequent audits of all manufacturing areas to ensure health and safety processes are being followed
Provide HSE / Health and safety training to new starters and ensure all new staff are qualified and informed on processes
Ensure any HSE / Health and safety concerns or risks are reported promptly and recorded accurately
Support the company with any accreditations that need to be maintained or obtained
Aim to improve on all Health and Safety practices across the companyRequirements:
Hold a formal Health and Safety qualification such as a NEBOSH / NVQ / IEMA or similar
Prior experience as a HSE Advisor / HSE Officer / HSE Coordinator / Health and Safety Officer / Health and Safety Advisor / Health and Safety Coordinator / SHE Officer / She Advisor in a manufacturing environment or hold a similar qualification
Able to commute to the main office based in Bolton
