Social Worker - Children In Care Team

Leicestershire County Council is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join their Children In Care team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, making a significant impact on the lives of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of children in care, ensuring their needs are assessed and met effectively.
Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
Regularly review and update care plans, ensuring all actions promote the best outcomes for children.
Work closely with foster carers, residential care staff, and other stakeholders to provide stability and support for children.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England (SWE) registration.
Experience working with children in care or in similar roles.
Strong understanding of the legal and policy framework for children in care.
Excellent assessment, planning, and communication skills.
