About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Mobile Forklift Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, repairs, and servicing of forklifts and other material handling equipment on client sites across the region. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000, a company van and fuel card, along with opportunities for overtime to boost your earnings.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repairs:
Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on various forklifts and material handling equipment.
Diagnostics & Fault Finding:
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently and carry out repairs on-site to ensure minimal downtime.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent service to customers, offering advice on equipment usage, and providing timely updates on work progress.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company procedures, ensuring the equipment is safe and compliant.
Paperwork & Documentation:
Complete detailed service reports, job sheets, and repair records for each job.
On-Call Support (if applicable):
Respond to emergency repair calls when required to ensure the client’s operations are not disrupted.What We Offer:

Proven experience as a Mobile Forklift Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in maintaining and repairing forklifts or similar equipment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair faults on-site efficiently and safely.
Full UK Driving License (essential).
Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers professionally and effectively.
