Area Sales Manager – East Wales
Description:
The role is responsible for rapidly growing our business in the on-trade across predominantly the East Wales area. This will be achieved through developing customer relationships, growing networks and being a true brand ambassador for Glamorgan Brewing Co & LWC Drinks. This role requires a passion for the drinks industry, through beer, cider and wine and an ability to bring a rigorous sales approach in a dynamic and creative environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for distribution, volume, profitability and brand experience within both new prospect accounts and an existing account base in a key trading region.
• Represent Glamorgan Brewing Co. and LWC Drinks across a fully composite wholesale channel.
• Complete area and budget management.
• Create new business relationships with potential clients and seize upon opportunities.
• Working with key partner suppliers and build great relationships to support activation.
• Able to work closely with a telesales team, who will support the needs of new and existing business.
• Work closely within a team of Area Sales Managers, to achieve both team and company objectives.
• Objectives are split between Sales of wine, beers, ciders, spirits and soft drinks, with a focus on Glamorgan Brewing Co. own products. The role has specific targets for partner brewer products (e.g. Budweiser Brewing Group, Heineken UK & Molson Coors UK)
• To always represent Glamorgan Brewing Co. and LWC Drinks in a professional manner.
Skills & Experience:
• Ideally, candidate to be located in South Wales.
• Passion for the drinks industry.
• Have superior negotiating skills.
• Have excellent time, planning and project management skills.
• Be able to flawlessly present and communicate in both written and verbal forms.
• Be resilient, detailed and creative.
• Be able to successfully work on own initiative.
• Be able to handle demands, targets, guidelines, and stress situations.
• Strong organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent relationship building and follow-up skills.
• Very enthusiastic & motivated to make a difference.
• Self-driven, ambitious and resilient.
• Flexible with irregular working hours. Be present during key periods on premise (including evenings and some weekends)
• This role is field based, so a current clean UK Driving License is required.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
• Willingness to learn.
