Working for this global leader in healthcare product provision, as Business Development Manager, you’ll target NHS Acute/Community/Mental Health Trusts, Hospices and Private Hospitals selling things like hospital grade beds, mattresses and various other equipment.
Salary – £45,000 + Car Allowance + Commission – 60K OTE
Location – South West (Field based sales visiting clients regularly)
Role Type – Full time / Permanent / 8:30-5 (Some flex based on client requirements)

The Role
You will operate at a senior level, understanding and influencing ordering processes while negotiating with purchasing departments and contributing to tender completions. Key responsibilities include selling products, rental options, and service contracts, building detailed customer profiles, and maintaining awareness of competitor activities.
You will develop and implement sales strategies, deliver training sessions, and provide product demonstrations. Collaboration with marketing and contract management teams is essential to drive growth, manage tenders, and enhance brand awareness.
Regular reporting on sales performance, market trends, and competitor insights is an important part of this role too.
We’ll need you to have previous experience of selling into the healthcare market. Previous experience working with, specifying and being involved in the sales of clinical beds and pressure care products would be advantageous.
You’ll need a full UK driving license to be considered as this role involves regular travelling to meet clients. Your territory covers the South West of England across to Portsmouth/Southampton, up to Oxfordshire and the majority of Wales.
