Inspection and Testing:
- Conduct visual inspections of moulded parts at various stages of production to
identify defects, irregularities, or deviations from specifications.
- Perform dimensional and functional testing of moulded parts using precision
measuring instruments and testing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with product specifications, customer requirements, and
quality standards, including visual appearance, dimensions, tolerances, and
performance characteristics.
- Record inspection results and non-conformities accurately and promptly,
documenting findings in inspection reports or quality databases.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, including inspection logs,
test results, and quality documentation.
- Prepare and distribute inspection reports and quality metrics to production
supervisors, quality assurance managers, and other stakeholders as required.
Quality Improvement:
- Identify trends or patterns in inspection results and non-conformities,
collaborating with production teams to address root causes and implement
corrective actions.

defect reduction, and continuous improvement projects.
Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality management standards, such as ISO 9001, customer-specific requirements, and regulatory standards. 2. Stay informed about industry best practices, quality trends, and emerging technologies related to injection moulding manufacturing. Communication and Collaboration: 1. Communicate effectively with production operators, supervisors, and quality assurance team members to address quality issues, provide feedback, and facilitate resolution of quality-related concerns. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and customer service, to ensure alignment on quality objectives and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality inspection
roles within a manufacturing environment, preferably in injection moulding or
plastics manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques, tools, and methodologies,
including visual inspection, dimensional measurement, and functional testing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and
technical specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments, such as calipers,
micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), quality standards, and
regulatory requirements.
-
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
