Duties

Operate spot welding equipment
Assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
Perform quality checks on welded joints to ensure structural integrity.
Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while working in the manufacturing environment. Skills
Some experience in welding techniques, particularly spot welding and stick welding.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
Experience with hand tools and power tools.
Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during the assembly process.
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes is advantageous.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills. Days, Monday - Friday, early finish on Fridays. Temp to perm
