The role
This is an opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Professional to join an established and reputable business based in Derbyshire.
The Major Responsibilities of the role are:

Maintaining & Managing QMS over the site.

Participating in Audits (internal & external)

Managing non-conformances and ensuring preventative / corrective action.

Ensuring food quality/safety checks and paperwork are completed.

Working closely with other staff members to ensure readiness for audits.

To deputise for the Technical Manager in their absence from site.
The Successful Candidate will be able to demonstrate.

People management experience and skills
-
Ideally be educated to degree level in Food Science.
-
HACCP and Food Safety qualifications are highly preferred.
-
PC literate.
-
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
-
Able to plan and organize work efficiently and effectively.
-
Proven track record working in a Quality Assurance role
