A vibrant secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a Medical Lead to join their team ASAP. This is a full-time position with the potential to be either temporary or permanent. You must have an Enhanced DBS.
Role expectation:
As the Medical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the health and well-being of students. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing first aid and managing day-to-day medical needs for students.
Responding promptly and effectively to medical incidents and emergencies.
Keeping detailed and accurate records of incidents on the school system.
Supporting students with ongoing medical conditions, ensuring they receive appropriate care and guidance.
Promoting a safe and healthy school environment in collaboration with staff and parents.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a school nurse, medical practitioner, or similar role.
Excellent organizational skills to manage medical records and handle emergencies efficiently.
A caring and approachable demeanour, with strong communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families.
A valid first aid qualification.
An Enhanced DBS.
