Job Description: The Payroll Support Officer will be responsible for ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time. Duties will include managing deductions and overtime, maintaining payroll records and preparing payroll reports, ensuring that salary payments comply with relevant legislation and regulations, handling employee inquiries, supporting employee benefits and assisting with audits.
Qualifications: - 5 Years’ experience within a similar role
- Matric / Senior Certificate with relevant experience
- Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- Proven payroll administration experience
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel
- Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data capturing
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
