Introduction
The responsibilities of this role include providing client advisory and resolution services.
Responsibilities
- Provide “in-time” client advisory services:
- Implement operating procedures and systems.
- Provide technical advice on interpretation of B-BBEE legislation, B-BBEE deals, Contracts, Codes etc.
- Maintain and update record details of assistance provided to walk-in clients.
- Respond to client’s requests for meetings and facilitate referrals, where required.
- Update the client enquiry and complaints logging and tracking system.
- Provide client support and enquiry resolution services.
- Provide professional client care and support on an ongoing basis.
- Implement recommendations arising from client satisfaction surveys to improve services.
- Analyse facts regarding client queries and provide advice in terms of the provisions of the Act:
- Update the database of resolved and unresolved cases.
- Provide rapid response to clients and clear unresolved cases on a weekly basis.
- Analyse the nature of client queries and develop mechanisms to eliminate such enquiries from recurring (advisory opinions, practice notes etc).
- Provide client advice in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
- Database Management:
- Maintain records of all e-mail, telephonic, faxed, posted and electronic queries (e.g. via website) in chronological order.
- Allocate a reference number to all queries for follow-up by clients and in-house monitoring.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports on the number and nature of queries received, resolved and responses provided to clients.
Qualification Requirements
- Degree/ National Diploma in Public Administration or Business Administration / Economic Science / Law.
Experience / Skills Required
- Minimum: 3 years’ relevant experience in client advisory service.
- Knowledge of the B-BBEE Act.
