Group Financial ControllerNorth Lanarkshire | c£85k + BenefitsAbout the Role:Lusona is sourcing a highly motivated and experienced Group Financial Controller for a thriving service sector client. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead the finance function, manage a team of ten, and play a pivotal role in the company's strategic growth.Key Responsibilities:Financial Leadership: Oversee all aspects of financial and management accounting for six Group companies, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and year-end audits.Strategic Finance: Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, manage cash flow, and provide insightful financial analysis to support key business decisions.Operational Involvement: Work closely with the Managing Director on various operational areas, including banking relationships, cash management, and HR.Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including external reporting to banks and funders.Key Requirements:Qualified accountant (CIMA or ACMA)Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a multi-company environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detailAdvanced Excel skills (essential)Experience with Sage Line 200 (desirable)Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsStrong leadership and team management abilitiesBenefits:Competitive salary (c£85k)4% pension contributionPrivate healthcarePerformance-related bonus
