Assist in executing marketing and communication activities of the company. Implement activities that will assist in the positive growth of the brand and increase brand awareness within the region. Develop, execute, and steer decarbonization and sustainability agenda for the company.
Requirements:
Knowledge & Experience:
Matric or Senior Certification equivalent
A BCom degree in Marketing Management and relevant Post Graduate Degree
A minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in HR marketing / Marketing support
Logistics experience would be advantageous

Duties And Accountabilities:
Marketing and Communication Strategy:
Assisting with the implementing of all marketing and communication strategies for the company
Communication and Public Relations (PR)
Research new channels / media for editorials and collaborations
Assist in the regional content creation for online and offline channels
Administer the online presence of the company including social media channels, websites (incl. SEO) as well as review systems like HelloPeter and Google
Create monthly reports on PR activities, social media and website performance
Collaborate with Human Resources on internal communication activities as well as employer branding and execution: Employee newsletter, staff campaigns Social Media activities
Advertising:
Execute all advertising and paid campaigns throughout all online and offline channels (e.g., LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads)
Research new channels / media to advertise
Administer sponsorships
Create reports for all advertising activities / paid campaigns
Corporate Branding and Identity
Assist in maintaining the integrity of the company’s’ corporate identity by ensuring the pre-determined guidelines are adhered to in the region
Corporate Gifts and Merchandise:
Source new items through suppliers, following trends and concepts in corporate gifting and merchandise
Manage of client gifts and merchandise for the region
Client Retention and Acquisition Events:
Assist in the planning and execute on all regional events
Plan and execute all the company’s client events (not limited to):
Plan and coordinate the company rugby suite in Johannesburg
Plan and coordinate chamber and networking events
Plan and execute other client functions like Women’s Day, 947 Cycling Challenge, golf days
Plan and execute webinars and online events
Plan and execute exhibitions
Support New Business Development:
Create and administer sales collateral for the region
Support new business development with customised company information / client acquisition documents
Agency and Supplier Management:
Assist in the management of online and offline agencies, freelancers, and suppliers
Complete quality checks
Assist with any other Marketing and Communication related tasks to help with the growth of the company’s brand in the MEA
Sustainability:
Steer the company’s decarbonization agenda within responsible region
Propose and drive regional strategies to address various environmental concerns including energy use, conservation, reduction of pollution, recycling, building and facility design, and general education on sustainability
Identify potential investment and risk / return on new projects that will expedite 2045 net-zero goal
Identify creative ways in which the company can balance business obligations with the goal of respecting, supporting, and improving the local and regional environments
Conducts research to identify regional environmental and sustainability concerns, interests, and issues in the regions
Develops and maintains appropriate documentation and records including budgets and other financials
Act as interface with external parties and represent the company on Sustainability topics
Create regional community, share, and learn best practice from each other
Develop relationship with NGOs within the region for potential projects/ partnership that’s in line with global strategy
Represent Company’s sustainability agenda with stakeholders within the regions
Implement our global policies to ensure that the company is environmentally and socially responsible
Make sure, that our employees/managers understand the importance of sustainable (management) practices
Provide exceptional support to our customers to build trust, confidence in our expertise, and reputation
Track and analyse trends in Sustainability and in customers’ industries
