Job Title: Farm Manager
A seasoned and accomplished farm manager is required to oversee the day-to-day operations of our farm, guaranteeing exceptional produce quality and outstanding guest experiences.
About the Role:
This position involves managing all aspects of the farm, including orchards, gardens, vegetables, animals, game, maintenance, and business operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent management and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all farm activities, ensuring seamless execution and effective delegation.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members, promoting performance excellence and growth.
- Develop production plans to optimise yield and quality.
- Manage crop production tasks, including irrigation, fertilisation, pest control, and harvesting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in stone fruit or similar agricultural operations.
- Guest farm management experience is advantageous.
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans.
- Solid work ethic.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
Compensation Package:
R750,000 - R1,000,000 per annum, based on experience.
