About Us:

Our medical practice is seeking a friendly, organised, and highly skilled Medical Receptionist to join our team in Alice Springs. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients, answer phone calls, and manage appointments and bookings
Accurately process patient information, data entry, and billing
Prepare and maintain patient files, reports, and documents
Manage medications, scripts, and referrals
Provide general administrative support to the practice team
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies
Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical) or equivalent
Proficient in medical software and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
