Your role and responsibilities

All our Young Talent Programs are based on the 70:20:10 Model of Learning and Development:

Hands-on (70%)
Asking questions (20%)
Classroom (10%)

During your time at ABB South Africa, we will equip you with Soft Skills that will enable you to connect, create your identity, and promote yourself in any working environment.

For the 2024/2025 Intake, we are looking for graduates in the following areas:

Corporate Marketing and Communication Function: You will work in a department that handles corporate branding, communications, and events.
Supply Chain Management or Logistics: You will work in a department that manages Transport, Trade, and Logistics.
Human Resource Management: You will work in a department focused on Employee Life Cycle Management, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, and Industrial Relations.
Finance or Accounting: You will work in a department responsible for business controlling and Accounts Payables.
Occupational Health & Safety: You will work in a department that manages health and safety campaigns, ensuring ABB is a safe working environment.
Information Technology or Information Systems: You will work in the IT department and manage processes from end to end.

Qualifications for the role

Functional Trainee Program: Bachelor’s/BTech/BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Health & Safety, or Marketing & Communication.
Ability to problem-solve, be creative, and innovative.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with high self-confidence and a hunger to learn.
