Hours for the role are Monday - Thursday 4pm - 2:30am with some rotational coverage on Fridays and Saturdays.
Compensation range: $71,580 to $107,476 annually

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Preventive/Predictive Maintenance
- Implement a world-class, preventive/predictive maintenance framework and best practices across.
- Work with Maintenance Planner to ensure timely execution of Preventative Maintenance and work orders.
- Maximizing the maintenance teams operating efficiency, troubleshooting, root cause investigations, countermeasure implementation, preventive/predictive maintenance activities while contributing to internal projects as well.
- Oversight of maintenance contracts and vendor relations.
Continuous Improvement/Lean Initiatives
- Foster a collaborative culture with the Operations team focused on implementing sustainable improvements to maximize machine uptime/Overall Equipment Efficiency and continuous improvement KPI’s and utilize the data from Asset Essentials (CMMS) and Redzone (Operations Management tool) to improve department effectiveness (including safety, reliability, productivity and quality).
Leadership
- Provide direct supervision and coaching & development to direct reports.
- Hire, train, coach and review the work of maintenance team to ensure the maintenance processes are accomplished in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
Budget Managing
- Ownership of maintenance budgets.
- Support capital project development and execution.
Problem Solving
- Take on and solve frequent problems that arise in a typical workday. Identify a certain problem or situation and find the best way to handle the problem to get the best solution. Able to sort out situations even when the prevailing conditions are not right.
Delegation
- Able to effectively and efficiently re-assign tasks and give authority to the right employees to help facilitate quick and easy work results, avoid wastage of time, optimize productivity and ensure responsibility and accountability on the part of the employees.
Health & Safety
- Participate in safety related meetings and training.
- Cooperate with all aspects of the Company Safety Program.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing employees on maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job.
Food Safety
- Hold team members accountable to following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure we produce safe quality food.
- Work to ensure all corrective actions from audits are completed and reviewed.
- Ensure the Company actively maintains the facility and prioritizes repairs to the facility and equipment based on food safety risk to product or process.
- Comply with food safety regulations and current GMP to result in the delivery of safe food products.
What You’ll Need (Qualifications)
Required
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- Experience in leading a maintenance team.
Preferred
- Food industry experience.
- Lean manufacturing experience.
- Able to structure ambiguous problems, analyze complex processes, synthesize data and results and drive toward insight and solutions.
- Able to identify significant deviations from the operating plan and budget along with able to work with site leaders to identify corrective actions using appropriate continuous tools (Kaizen, visual systems, 6S, Gemba, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.).
- Proficient knowledge of food manufacturing, food safety, FDA/USDA, and OSHA.
- Budget creation and management experience.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and experience with CMMS.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Highly motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work well with various levels of employees and diverse cultures.
- While performing the duties of this position, one must be able to work in cool conditions of up to 50 degrees up to 20% of the time.
- The employee frequently is required to stand or walk most of the day; use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach overhead with hands and arms continuously.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as well as the ability to bend, turn, push, pull.
- Occasionally lift and move up to 25 – 40 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close, distance, color and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and the ability to adjust focus continuously.
- Occasionally need to work evenings or weekends as the workload demands.
