Sustained business growth has led to a challenging opportunity in our Construction division for: CIVL CONSTRUCTION QUANTITY SURVEYOR - National Qualification and work experience: BTech Quantity Surveying, or Degree in Quantity Surveying, or other relevant and equivalent qualification. Between 5 and 10 years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the Civil Construction industry. Extensive knowledge of COLTO, SABS, JBCC, FIDIC, GCC, Common Law Contractual rights, and special provisions. Primary responsibilities: Ability to analyse and reconcile construction costs and demonstrate proactive cost control. P roficient in forecasting turnover and profit, as well as cash flow reporting. Proven track record of mentorship/coaching skills and training of all levels of Quantity Surveyors. Experience in identifying, compiling, and submitting variation orders for approval. Computer literacy in Candy, MS office, especially Word and Excel. Strong problem-solving skills, self-management, and ability to manage time and key priorities effectively. Experience in liaising with employers and employers agents. Capable of working in a team environment with site staff and site management. Possession of an unendorsed driver's license. Flexibility regarding working hours and willingness to relocate/travel for unspecified periods. Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
