The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager: Pre-sorting, and be responsible for: optimal setup of the production line accurate execution of sorting instructions management of production team (approximately 30 staff) quality and output management measurement and recordkeeping of outputs maintenance of food safety systems (HACCP & BRC) basic maintenance of machinery all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification in the electrical/mechanical field will be to the candidate's advantage; Relevant experience in a similar position in the fruit industry, or in an automated production environment will be advantageous; Good computer literacy (MS Office); Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); Own reliable transport; Willingness to work hours as per industry seasonal requirements.
