Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Electrician/PLC Programmer with the following qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Electrician with Grade 12 & Technical Trade Specific N2
- PLC Programming and instrumentation knowledge with 5+ years of experience
- Knowledge of Treading and experience in the Manufacturing Industry
- Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams
- Conduct and participate in risk assessments
- Create and design schematics, write and install computer programs, and test the efficacy of the installed program
- Attend to breakdowns and emergencies as required on weekends/night-shifts
- Ensure that material, spares, and equipment are available as required
- Comply with environmental requirements and maintain a high quality of work
- Exercise judgment regarding the replacement of components
- Record results of all legal examinations in the appropriate format
- Complete job cards
