Description
Assistant Accountant
Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis.
Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Provide timely and accurate financial data to support decision-making.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany accounts.
Assist in resolving discrepancies in financial records.
Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor and reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
Assist in managing credit control and resolving invoicing issues.
Collaborate with production and operations teams to track and analyse manufacturing costs.
Support inventory valuation, stock reconciliations, and cost variance analysis.
Assist in ensuring accurate recording of production data in financial systemsProfile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
Studying toward ACCA or CIMA
Good knowledge of financial systems and MS Office (Ideally SAP)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sectorJob Offer
An attractive salary ranging from £32,500 to £39,000 per year
