Our client is looking for a Legal Secretary to join their Corporate and Commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of the support team within a growing and successful firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing general secretarial support including opening files, preparing documents and emails under the fee-earner’s direction.

Client onboarding.

Typing up digital dictations.

Diary management (booking appointments and meetings).

Electronic filing and archiving.

Producing legal documents from mark-ups, to include formatting and cross-referencing.

Invoicing.
-
Dealing with client enquiries both in person and over the phone.

Liaising with the Accounts Department over invoice and other accounting queries.
Experience and Skills Requirements

Must have previous legal secretarial experience or an interest in law.

Computer literacy with good keyboard / typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Previous experience of practice management systems, CRM systems and digital dictation is desirable but not essential.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A high standard of client service.

Excellent organisational skills, effective prioritisation of workload and time management skills.

Ability to work both on your own and as part of a team.
