About the Role:
Hunter AHP is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a well-regarded NHS hospital in Oxfordshire. This is an ongoing contract offering flexible working options (3, 4, or 5 days per week). The successful candidate will have previous clinical pharmacy experience and will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy services across a variety of wards, ensuring safe and effective medication use for patients.
Conduct clinical ward rounds and medication reviews, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care.
Offer expert advice on drug therapy management, including dosing, interactions, and side effects.
Monitor and support the safe prescribing and administration of medicines.
Provide counselling and education to patients on their medications and treatment plans.
Contribute to audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy team.
Requirements:
Previous clinical pharmacy experience in an NHS hospital setting is essential.
GPhC registration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible availability to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week, with an ongoing commitment.
