The Opportunity:
Are you a HR Officer OR Hr Assistant ready to take on a dynamic role in a multifaceted organisation with a rich history? This position offers an opportunity to work at the heart of a prestigious institution, collaborating across departments, legal entities, and charities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistant to collaborate with our Head of HR and Senior HR Assistant in providing outstanding HR support. In this generalist role, you will play a key part in fostering a positive, inclusive, and fair work environment supporting initiatives to recruit, retain, and develop talent. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding, Help attract new talent by writing job descriptions and adverts.
Organise the hiring process by setting up interview panels, preparing interview questions, and communicating with candidates.
Manage onboarding programs to ensure new employees settle in smoothly and feel welcomed.
Performance management, work with managers to ensure employees perform at their best.
Assist managers in setting goals and reviewing employee performance.
Identify training needs based on performance reviews.
HR Policy & Compliance, Ensure company follows UK employee laws.
Help develop, update, and review HR policies.
Promote diversity, Equity, and inclusion.
Training & Development, plan and run training programs.
Lead HR training sessions for managers and staff.
Compensation & benefits, support the HR Assistant with managing employee benefits
Data & Reporting, Keep HR records and databases accurate and up-to-date
Create reports on HR metrics like /O and absenteeism. Your Skills & Experience
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
Ability to handle sensitive information carefully and confidentially.
Confident in solving problems and making decisions.
Patient and resilient.
Highly accurate and thorough in your work.
Honest and trustworthy.
