Relationship Manager (Occupancy)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Location: Home based with regular national travel
Are you a customer focussed, strategic thinker with a passion for housing?
We are seeking a professional individual who has a good knowledge of housing and understands the importance of maximising occupancy. In this varied role you will support day to day operations as well as having the ability to influence and develop our strategy relating to extra care housing and occupancy.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Local Authorities, commissioning groups, and influencers in the extra care rental process, such as social services, community groups, care providers, and GPs.

Serve as the primary point of contact for designated location managers, providing support and guidance in overcoming occupancy challenges and finding solutions.

Drive occupancy for extra care ensuring relevant targets and KPI’s are met.

Possess knowledge of extra care housing nomination and allocation processes.

Demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality and data protection within an extra care housing setting.

Collaborate with key sector stakeholders, including Local Authority adult social care commissioners and housing organizations.

Develop and deliver training for location managers in support of void management.

Work on national and local marketing campaigns ensuring marketing materials meet the needs of the locations.

Work closely with stakeholders to develop and roll out initiatives to support discharge to assess, hospital bed blocking and adult social care challenges.
What we are looking for:

Significant customer-facing experience, preferably in the extra care housing or social sector.

Understanding of common health and social challenges faced by older adults.

Proven experience in working towards targets and delivering results.

Excellent organisational skills and ability to independently manage schedules to maximise productivity.

Strong relationship management skills with a focus on building rapport with prospective customers and their families/friends.

Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities and innovative ways of working.
