TRC are currently supporting a fantastic well established care provider in sourcing a Deputy RMN Manager in Loughborough.
The service is a Nurse-Led Specialist Mental Health Unit, that with the support of a Multi-Disciplinary Team takes a Holistic approach to the care of individuals presenting with complex and long-standing mental health conditions. The aim of the service is to support individuals to maintain their physical and psychological wellbeing reducing the need for hospital admission and acute interventions.
About the Role
As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the unit. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Manager with appraisals, staff competence assessments, and meeting clinical objectives.

Ensuring a safe, structured environment where service users are treated holistically, with dignity and respect.

Providing leadership, support, and training to staff.

Planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions and risk assessments to meet service users’ holistic needs.

Monitoring care quality and ensuring compliance with National Care Standards, CQC requirements, and company policies.

Participating in clinical and multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and optimise service user care.

Identifying training needs and liaising with the training department to ensure staff development.

Assisting with staff recruitment, ensuring confidentiality policies are upheld, and participating in the on-call rota.

Promoting positive public relations with purchasers and members of the public.
