Company Overview - Drainage Engineer
Our Client are currently looking for a Drainage Engineer to join their highly valued team on a full-time basis.
Due to continued growth and investment, we are excited to announce a new opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Drainage Engineer to join our dynamic and successful team. As a Drainage Engineer, you will work either as part of a two-person team alongside an experienced Drainage Engineer or independently, depending on the job requirements.
Experience within the drainage industry is essential for this position.
Drainage Engineer Role and Responsibilities:

Perform a range of drainage services, including pump station cleaning, drain and gulley cleaning, tankering, jetting, CCTV drainage surveys, and confined space entry.

Communicate effectively within a team, providing clear reports and photographic evidence of work carried out via PDA and mobile phone.

Maintain a professional and approachable manner when liaising with customers, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

Work autonomously or as part of a team, depending on the project needs.

Carry out physical tasks such as lifting equipment weighing up to 25kg and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Be flexible to work nights and weekends at enhanced rates as required
. Drainage Engineer Skills and Experience:
-
Proven experience as a Drainage Engineer, including tankering, jetting, CCTV surveys, and confined space entry.

Full clean UK driving license (minimum Cat C1 – 7.5-tonne vehicle).

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Flexibility to participate in the Emergency Call-Out Rota.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to professionally engage with clients and colleagues.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate as part of a team or independently.

A positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.

Trustworthy, reliable, and with a strong sense of integrity.
