THE ROLE:
This role is working for one of our prestigious clients to join their ever expanding team. Our client is looking for a FLT / warehouse operative
Duties include
• To ensure all goods in are processed and put away quickly and efficiently while completely all inbound checks correctly.
• All outbound loads are completed accurately according to dispatch notes.
• Ensure all on site FLT are operated safely in accordance to training including daily, Pre-Use inspections.
• Be vigilant and forward thinking with housekeeping and maintain the highest standards to ensure a clean and tidy work environment and push continuous improvement.
• Ensure all food safety standards are met.
• Good time management to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner whilst also ensuring priorities are met.
• To be able to work as part of a team, take instruction but also work off own initiative when required.
• Take part in weekly stock takes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and good listening skills.
This role can be physically demanding at times so applicants must be prepared to work as a team and have a flexible approach to assist all departments when/if required. Also be aware that as a warehouse operative you will be working with a chilled environment as well as loading and unloading outside regardless of weather conditions.
