As a Mechanical Technical Services Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the delivery of maintenance services within a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) framework. Working closely with a dedicated team, you will:
Oversee and coordinate directly employed labour and subcontractors to ensure timely breakdown response and preventative maintenance.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with statutory, NHS, and company guidelines.
Provide technical assurance across maintenance disciplines, while reviewing and enhancing service quality.
Lead initiatives for budgetary control, financial efficiency, and operational excellence.
Promote health and safety awareness, delivering training and championing safety initiatives. To succeed as the Mechanical Technical Services Manager, you’ll bring:
Proven mechanical expertise in a PFI healthcare environment.
Strong knowledge of risk management, health and safety, and industry legislation.
Qualifications such as ONC/BTEC NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline and HTM-compliant Authorised Person certification.
