Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays

Role Overview:
As a Commercial & Programme Customer Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing customer relationships, driving commercial initiatives, and overseeing the full lifecycle of contracts and programs. Acting as the primary customer interface, you’ll ensure the seamless delivery of strategic goals while fostering a customer-centric culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of customer contracts, ensuring all deliverables and commitments are met.

Lead scope changes post-contract award, supporting contract negotiations and pricing adjustments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.

Identify opportunities for growth and profitability within the existing product portfolio.

Serve as the Voice of the Customer, sharing insights to drive collaboration and improve customer satisfaction.

Develop strategic business plans and proposals in partnership with Engineering and Business Development teams.

Present program status updates to internal stakeholders and customers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications / Experience Required:

Strong understanding of business, commercial, engineering, and operations management

Proven leadership, project management, and strategic thinking skills

Strong mechanical engineering background, ideally within the aerospace industry but open for the right candidate

Ability to influence and drive results in a matrix or multi-divisional environment.

Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

Adept at navigating complex situations, providing clear guidance, and achieving outcomes.

Strong relationship-building skills to deliver excellent customer service.
