The Role
This role sits within the ESG (Environmental Social Governance) Team, which has a primary function to deliver our bespoke service “ESG Enable”. ESG Enable allows clients to gather vital data required for ESG reporting and net zero project planning and implementation, having a direct impact on our clients’ carbon emissions.
This role will support the creation of ESG disclosures for our clients and will provide valuable insights to help guide our clients in aligning with sustainability objectives and regulatory requirements. In addition, this role will support the development of client solutions to develop our ESG services
Main Duties & Responsibilities
General
*Develop an understanding of the service offering and all processes required to successfully complete all required tasks.
*Learn all relevant areas of ZTPs bespoke energy management portal.
*Understand the context of why the service is being provided and what its applications are across end client sectors.
*Attend internal and client meetings in person and by video conferences as required, managing the communication of progress updates internally and with clients.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into the management of meters, and to support in the expansion of our offering.
*Assist in producing sustainability reports and maintaining ESG data for regulatory compliance.
*Stay up-to-date with ESG regulations and industry trends, particularly within the energy sector.
*Support the development of client solutions to develop ESG services and our software to ensure we are delivering our client’s goals as this offering evolves.
*Supporting with the training of ESG Account Executives or ESG Administrators in the team.
Desktop Surveys
*Collect client portfolio data (building, unit, tenant) in varying formats by client and convert them into a uniform template. Identify missing or error data and report to the Account Manager or client so that it can be resolved.
*Perform desktop analysis to identify meters from national databases to relate to each building/unit in the client’s portfolio.
*Add all identified meters into a template Working File.
*Where questions arise from meters that cannot be located or accurately assigned, document these for presentation to client stakeholders.
*Liaise with client stakeholders to gather answers to above questions so that the desktop survey can be completed.
*Where required, organise site surveys with third party or ZTP internal field operations team to physically attend sites to identify meters.
*Review the output of site surveys and incorporate details into associated desktop survey working files.
*Present completed working file to Account Manager and or client Stakeholders.
*Upload all client buildings, units, tenants and identified meters into ZTPs energy management portal.
Permissions Gathering
*Collect tenant contact details from the client and add into a predefined Working File template. Research tenant contacts where client data is missing or out of date.
*Add contact details into the ZTP Energy Management Portal.
*Use Mail Merge to create and send permission request emails to tenants.
*Record responses and respond to questions from tenants as required.
*Take part in meeting with tenants who may have questions about the project or process.
*Record details of tenants who request access to ZTPs energy management system.
*Record and report in the number of tenants who provide permission, decline permission or do not respond, and present these results to the Account Manager.
Data Completeness Analysis
*Review data being collected against the meters where permission is granted to ensure data is flowing where expected.
*Review the data collected to identify missing data, spikes, troughs, and any anomalies. Report these to the Account Manager and or Software Team.
*Analyse collected data against industry averages based on the type of building the usage relates to.
Relationship Management
*Lead client meetings about our ESG services.
*Engage with clients to advise them on ESG risks, opportunities, and best practices, helping them meet sustainability targets.
Person Specification
First of foremost, we are seeking someone who is driven and proactive, that comes from the Energy Industry, that has expereince in a smiliar role.
Essential Knowledge Requirements
*Ability to support processing complex technical data and concepts into meaningful insight for clients.
Essential Skills & Abilities
*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Intermediate excel (Lookups, Pivot tables, Use of Graphs & Tables, Ability to cleanse and organize a dataset).
*Strong report writing capabilities.
*Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Good presentation skills.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Build and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels.
*Good attention to detail.
*Proactive and think outside the box.
*Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

Essential Experience Requirements
*2+ years of experience in consultancy or similar role, focusing on ESG, carbon or broader environmental management.
Essential Education & Qualification Requirements
*A-Levels.
*GCSE’s (English & Maths).
Desirable Education & Qualification Requirements
*Bachelors Degree.
