Junior Sommelier/Wine Waiter/Waitress, SW1 London, Monday to Friday, £33,500 + bonus

This established private members club with 2 restaurants, a bar and private dining rooms has an amazing opportunity for a Wine Waiter/Waitress or Junior Sommelier to join the team.
In this role, you will be
- Recommending wines and pairing wine to food
- Customer focused with good communication, attention to detail and presentation
- Strong in wine knowledge particularly in French wines and able to converse with guests about wine
- Knowledgeable about wine storage and serving temperatures
- Liaising with guests
Working hours are Monday to Friday only with split shifts: 11:00 - 15:00, 17:00 - 23:00

- Exceptional working hours (Club is closed in August, Christmas/New Year and Bank Holidays)
- Taxi home if working after 23:00
As our candidate, you would be
- a wine waiter/waitress or Junior Sommelier with strong wine knowledge (essential)
- WSET Level 2 or 3 qualified
- experienced in a similar role
- genuinely passionate about wine and able to talk knowledgeably about wine, storage and serving temperatures
- experienced in wine/food pairing
- strong in communication skills with the ability to liaise with colleagues and customers
- keen to learn and develop, taking advice and direction on board
- attentive to detail and presentation
- friendly and approachable with a professional manner
