bluewaveSELECT is headhunting for a Product Manager for Planning Analytics to join a global end user on a permanent basis.
Offering £60k plus bonus up to 10% and benefits.
Flexible working, with weekly visits to Sheffield ideally.
The Product Manager will be responsible for managing the product development function within the finance solutions team, ensuring that the business needs for the EPM suite are met whilst managing stakeholders effectively.
You will take ownership of the backlog, strive for improvement, conduct forecasting activity and prioritise – bringing everything together.
Would suit someone with a finance background with the ability to work well with the business.
Key Responsibilities

Work closely with end users to understand and translate their needs into product designs and actionable tasks

Analyse and manage the backlog to identify quick wins and development opportunities

Prioritise development requests based on strategic value and resource availability

Maintain an organised backlog, providing support and visibility to stakeholders

Track progress, ensuring timely delivery and resolution

Define test cases, ensuring quality of updates and fixes using appropriate planning and release tracking solutions
Key Skills

Strong understanding of finance EPM processes and planning analytics such as TM1

Ability to prioritise and action tasks relating to the EPM suite

Demonstrate a passion for the creation and delivery of quality reporting processes and products

Strong awareness of the needs whilst working with developers and SMEs to ensure success

Awareness of reporting and data manipulation capabilities available within IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) suite including integration

Business analysis mindset – translate needs, gather requirements, ensure requirements are met and act as the interface

Extensive stakeholder management – working in partnership, building long term relationships and understanding how to best support

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence
