Overview
Expleo have an exciting opportunity for experienced Stress Engineers / Analysts. Based in Expleo offices, you will be assigned to a major new defence project, where your skills and experience in Structural Analysis / FEA will be fully utilized
Responsibilities
Responsibilities within your role will include (but not limited to)
Interfacing with UK based Team to understand technical issues / specifications and requirements
Undertaking Finite Element Analysis Simulations using Abaqus CAE of marine structural seats / brackets / bolts
Work with the customer to determine solutions for failed simulations
Writing Analysis reports
Producing quality while keeping within project budgets & time constraints and potentially changing requirements
Apply correct processes, specifications procedures & techniques working with support from specialist teams
Qualifications
HNC/HND in mechacnical engineering
Degree in mechanical engineering
Essential skills
FEA Modelling
Abaqus CAE
MathCAD (beneficial but not essential)
Microsoft Office Skills
Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in stress analysis
Marine engineering desirable
