Job Title: Machine Operator
Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, 4 days per week (including weekends)
Location: Newport, TF10
Pay Rate: £13.43 per hour
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our clients team in Newport, TF10. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring high-quality output and efficiency. This is a night shift role, working from 6 PM to 6 AM (working 4 out of 7 days a week) including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to company procedures and production requirements.

Perform routine machine checks, adjustments, and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Monitor production processes, identifying and addressing issues to minimize downtime.

Ensure products meet quality standards by performing regular quality checks and making necessary adjustments.

Record and report production data, including outputs, issues, and maintenance logs.

Adhere to health and safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar production role is preferred.

Skills: Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.

Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required.

Availability: Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends, as part of a rotating schedule.
