CNC Machine Operative (Trafford Park)
Full Time, Permanent
M-F, 3 Shift Rotation (Shorter day Friday)
Paying from £18.12 per hour, Start People are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operative to work with one of our key engineering clients based in Trafford Park. This is a full time, permanent role.
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for the setting and operation of CNC machines (Programming is not essential but would be seen as an advantage).
You will need:

Experience of Fanuc & Siemens controls

Experience on Machining Centres / Vertical lathes & borers

Ability to use measuring equipment ( Micrometers, Verniers etc)

Understanding of tolerances and work to drawing requirements

Ability to amend programmes using tool offsets

Knowledge of G & M codes within a programme
