Ensures Arqiva’s most complex and significant projects are delivered, with minimal support, on time and in budget, maintaining alignment with strategic objectives, managing risks, and fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders. This role manages the alignment with objectives and provides regular communication to stakeholders.
The Role:
• Defines project governance models and reporting structures for effective project delivery, and communicates (and updates) business stakeholders
• Oversees prioritisation and selection of projects, managing overall portfolio and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
• Provides regular reports to other area leads and wider Arqiva
• Proactively identifies and mitigates critical stakeholder risks and concerns
• Responsible for supporting cross-functional teams in project or product delivery
• Manages changes in scope, costs, resources, and timing within the framework of agreed governance and change control processes
• Manages risk with close management of effective mitigations, escalating risks and issues where necessary
• Assists with creation of detailed and accurate budgets and provide accurate forecasts monthly
• Takes accountability for quality and accuracy of performance and deliverables
• Supports the readiness delivery and smooth handover into the operations teams
• Builds effective relationships across the Arqiva business, customer, and supplier organisations to drive trust and respect
The Person:
• Experience managing medium, large change
• Experience working in cross-functional, agile teams, preferably having previously supported the transformation to a more agile environment
• Experience of delivering projects with budgets in excess of £500k
• Financial and project planning expertise
• Experienced in either Agile or Waterfall Methodologies is preferable
• Experience with CDM, transmitters, Antenna’s and Power preferable
