Role: Recruitment Business Manager Location: Hackney
Salary: Up to £65,000 + bonus
The Role
Are you a proven Recruitment manager? Who is driven by delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment? Commercial Services Group are recruiting for a Recruitment Business Manager, who can demonstrate commercial acumen in the running and development of a successful business and team.
As a leader and advocate for CSG, you will maintain the relationship with our key client, Hackney Council and our internal shareholders by developing an understanding of their needs and delivering excellent customer service through fit-for-purpose recruitment, people and work management solutions. The role requires vision, dedication, an ability to operate strategically and someone with the commercial and customer relationship skills, which will enable business growth. It also requires an exceptional people manager who enjoys developing a team and does so in a supportive and creative way.
What you’ll achieve:
Overall responsibility for ensuring governance, including legislation, relating to employment businesses and the services in which the limited liability partnership operates.
Lead and develop the team to high performance. Provide strategic direction, performance management, organisation, team and individual development plans and deal first-hand with day-to-day employee relations.
Build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders including shareholders, department leads, and act as an escalation point to third-party agencies, hiring managers and candidates.
Appointed data protection champion to monitor internal compliance, inform and advise the Executive and Board regarding Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and act as a contact point for data subjects and supervisory authority.
Responsible for quality control, business performance and customer service improvements through analysis, reporting and maintaining adherence to the limited liability partnership’s Joint Accountability Statements (Service Levels).
Monitor and keep abreast of the performance of the partners as far as they affect the continuous improvement of the partnership e.g., the Commercial Services Kent Ltd back-office support service and the facilities management/lease for the building housing the team.
What we need from you:
Management and leadership experience within the recruitment industry with experience of fast-paced high volume temporary care or industrial recruitment for large-scale public or private organisations
A proven record of accomplishment in developing a team to achieve high performance
The ability to drive the success of the business by effective management, improving efficiency, productivity, and customer delight
A good understanding of the principles of stakeholder engagement
An entrepreneurial nature, one that is commercially well-informed
