The role gives the opportunity to gain experiences and development within the technical & quality department within a prestigious food supplier and distributor.
Tasks:
- Understanding and decision making of product quality and food safety
- Support the administration of due diligence by taking responsibility for supplier records
- Supporting the supply base by engaging in ethical, sustainability and quality requirements and documenting actions and development.
- Internal reporting for both customers and suppliers dealing with all stakeholders
- Support on internal audits
- Attendance at customer facing meetings to support wider team
- Assist in leading supplier relationships, KPIs and development
- Help manage customers specifications and communication to all relevant parties where appropriate, including management of our customers databases as required
- Help lead as a product specialist and support new product development
Skills:
- Applicants must have good written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate with good knowledge of Excel.
- Applicants with a full, clean driving license preferred.
- Applicants will be supported in development and growth in the business with relevant training provided
- Food safety certificate or knowledge of HACCP would be advantageous
