Salary: £55,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a committed and experienced Registered Care Home Manager with strong leadership and management skills. The ideal candidate will have a fantastic background in elderly and dementia care, along with a thorough understanding of CQC standards and regulations.
Located in Bury St Edmunds, this home is an attractive, medium-sized residential dementia home, that allow residents to continue with an independent lifestyle within a living atmosphere that is comfortable and caring. Situated in a quiet residential area, this modern home can offer high-end, comfortable accommodations set within private, beautifully landscaped gardens.
Key requirements for Care Home Manager Role:
To excel in this role, we are seeking a Registered Care Home Manager with the following qualifications and qualities:

2+ years of managerial experience within an Elderly Care Home setting

Have a good understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, safeguarding and care plans

NVQ level 5 or equivalent

CQC Registered

Being responsible for ensuring the very best person-centred care service is provided to our residents whilst promoting their interests and understanding their needs

Effectively managing your staff, providing guidance and on-going supervision and support, recruiting and onboarding new staff and continually develop and encourage your team.

Ability to prepare monthly reports collected for the Board of Directors and the Care Quality Commission

Good communication skills are essential to liaise with the residents’ families, friends, local authorities, and other healthcare professionals
