As an Extrusion Setter Operator, your responsibilities will include:
Setting up, maintaining, and safely operating tooling and processing equipment
Ensuring production targets for cost, quality, and timing are consistently met
Interpreting technical specifications from drawings with high accuracy
Operating and maintaining automated equipment and systems
Processing and developing recycled materials through compounding processes
Collaborating with colleagues to achieve business objectives
Maintaining accurate records and updating systems as required
Working 45 hours per week on a weekly rotational shift patternKey Requirements and Experience:
At least 5 years in extrusion, preferably PVC
NVQ or equivalent in pipe and profile extrusion
Experience in setting, operating, and troubleshooting a wide range of production tooling
Strong production schedule management and quality improvement capabilities
A collaborative attitude and practical problem-solving skills
