Position: Machine Minder / Operator
Location: Deeside
Hours: 24/7 shifts
Salary: £27,864p/a + over time
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Deeside and due to continued growth and expansion are looking for a 4 x Machine Operator to join their team. Previous experience within a production environment and flexible working hours are desirable, full training is given on all machinery along with the opportunity to progress and up-skill.
Duties:
- Operate within Company safety policy at all times.
- Knowledge and ability to utilise all inspection machinery to achieve the highest possible quality with maximum output and minimum waste.
- Maintain a tidy work area at all times.
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of procedures for inspection rewind.
- The ability to fault-find and problem-solve.
- Display an excellent eye for detail.
- Some mechanical skills, and basic routine maintenance (including weekly safety and maintenance checks on all equipment).
- Previous experience within a busy manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work under own initiative.
- Problem Solving.
- Record Keeping.
The role involves some physical activity e.g. lifting & bending.
