Health and Safety Manager
Alexander Steele is working with a leading food manufacturing business in Leicestershire. Our client is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join the fast-paced operations team. The role holder will ensure the site remains compliant with all aspects of the company H&S policy and associated procedures.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.

Deliver strategies to ensure achievement of the H&S objectives.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety, including incident reports, training records, and safety data sheets.

Provide professional leadership, support, and development to team members.

To drive continuous improvement in departmental costs.
Background Experience:
-
5+ years’ experience within a dynamic and broad manufacturing environment.

NEBOSH Certification but Diploma qualified would be desirable.

Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
-
A strong track record of leading and motivating teams in previous positions.

Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.
