Hatched Recruitment is looking for a MASH Social Worker in the Hillingdon area. 3 - 6 months contract with chance of extension. Ideal for those who are looking for a temporary contract role.
Job Purpose:
The Social Worker for the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is responsible for providing a high-performing social work service to adults in the community. This role involves working within a multi-agency setting to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults. The Social Worker will manage casework, conduct assessments, and ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of clients, including safeguarding adults, and ensure that all cases are handled in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Conduct assessments of clients' needs, identify relevant objectives to resolve problems, and take effective action to achieve solutions.

Work collaboratively with other council officers and partner agencies, including the police, health services, and voluntary sector organisations.

Maintain accurate records and ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner.

Provide information and support to clients, their families, and carers, ensuring that they are fully informed about their rights and available services.

Participate in multi-agency meetings and case conferences as required.

Maintain professional registration and compliance with the council's DBS requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:

A degree in social work or a related field.

Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., Social Work England).

Experience in a safeguarding role, preferably within a multi-agency setting.

Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
