We’re hiring for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturer at their site based in Hyde.

What will you be doing as a Maintenance Engineer?
-
Performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on machine tools, test equipment, and building services
-
Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical issues
-
Planning and undertaking scheduled preventative maintenance programmes
-
Specifying and ordering maintenance equipment while controlling tools, stores, and critical spares
-
Working from engineering drawings and documentation
-
Supporting production by maintaining high levels of maintenance and efficiency
-
Maintaining accurate records of all plant and equipment breakdowns
What do you need?
-
Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing organisation

Electrical qualification to City & Guilds/NVQ 2330 Level 3 or industry equivalent

Strong understanding of engineering functions and procedures

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

A degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering (preferred)
