SmartPro are working a specialist manufacturer in Swansea who have recently opened a new site and are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Forklift licence and industry experience. This role is a mix of Forklift operating, operating various machinery within a production setting and some warehouse duties. The role involves some physical tasks.
Hours: 830am - 5pm Monday - Friday
Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:

Using Forklift to move stock

Accurately pick and weigh raw materials

Manufacture bulk product according to blend sheet quantities and mixing instructions, recording batch numbers for traceability.

Following all SSOW and Quality procedures.

Transferring bulk product into storage vessels and containers.

Cleaning of mixing vessels and general housekeeping.

Relocating raw materials into the storage area.

Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.

Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Experience for the Forklift Operator:
-
Proven experience as a Forklift Operator within a manufacturing or production environment.

Ability to carry heavy loads.

Strong understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.

Has an appreciation of Health & Safety.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.
