Trailer Technician

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trailers to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems efficiently and effectively.

Conduct MOT preparation and testing to ensure all trailers meet legal requirements.

Respond to breakdowns and provide prompt, high-quality repair services.

Maintain accurate documentation of all work carried out, adhering to company procedures and policies.

Collaborate with team members and management to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of work.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Trailer Technician, ideally within a busy workshop or mobile environment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems specific to trailers.

Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

A proactive, team-oriented approach with strong communication skills.

Full UK driving license.
